Lornshill Academy, which was officially opened by football pundit and former pupil Alan Hansen, is one of three new-build secondary schools delivered by Clackmannanshire Education Partnership as part of a £70 million plus PPP project.

The new 3-storey, 1100-pupil school boasts specialist science, art, music, ICT and drama classrooms, a games hall, gymnasium, dance studio, fitness suite and a state of the art PE classroom.

Architects, 3D Reid, specified 343 doorsets from Leaderflush Shapland’s Designer and Extended Performance ranges. It can also help specifiers achieve BREEAM rating as it is manufactured using sustainable materials in accordance with BRE and achieves a Green Book A rating.
